The Peccadillo Theater Company announced complete casting today for the sold out industry reading of Sherri Hellers new comedy MY MOTHER, MY SISTER & ME, starring Valerie Harper, this Monday, May 14th at the DR2 Theatre (103 East 15th Street). The presentation will be directed by OBIE Award winner, Dan Wackerman. Along with Valerie Harper, the cast will feature Marcelo Pereira, Anthony Reimer, Randy Schein, Barbara Walsh, Zoe Winters and Remy Zaken. ( more...)

Tyne Daly, Ben Vereen, et al. to be Inducted Into Theatre Hall of Fame

The American Theatre Hall of Fame today announced the full list of 2012 inductees, which will included Broadway veterans Tyne Daly and Ben Vereen. Additional inductees will include directors Daniel Sullivan and Paul Sills, producers George White, Elliot Martin and Woodie King Jr., and costume designer Ann Roth. ( more...)

Bill Forrester to Receive Gregory A. Falls Award, 10/17

The first professional gig on Bill Forrester's resume is Assistant Scenic Designer for a 1959 NY summer stock production starring Gloria Swanson & Groucho Marx. Not a bad start. Fifty two years later, Theatre Puget Sound is thrilled to announce that Bill Forrester will become the 14th individual to receive the illustrious Gregory A. Falls Sustained Achievement Award. The award will be presented at the 3rd Annual Gregory Awards Ceremony being held at ACT Theatre on October 17, 2011 as part of ARTS CRUSH month.

BroadwayWorld has confirmed that Tyne Daly, Ben Vereen, Ann Roth, Daniel Sullivan, George White, Elliot Martin and Woodie King Jr., and Paul Sills will be inducted into the Theatre Hall of Fame this year.
