The Orange Tree Theatre today announces that it has appointed Tom Littler as the company's new Artistic Director. Currently Artistic Director and Executive Producer of the West End's Jermyn Street Theatre, Littler will succeed Paul Miller who is stepping down in December 2022 after more than eight years in post.

The Orange Tree Theatre today announces the full cast for Pierre Marivaux's The False Servant, translated by Martin Crimp, whose prolific international career began at the Orange Tree Theatre, including the recent hit revival of Dealing with Clair. Before his final season as Artistic Director of the OT, Paul Miller, directs Uzair Bhatti, Will Brown, Julian Moore-Cook, Phoebe Pryce, Lizzy Watts and Silas Wyatt-Barke.

The newly renovated State Theatre New Jersey presents Broadway's Tony Award-winning musical comedy phenomenon Hairspray for four performances on Friday, April 29, 2022, at 8pm; Saturday, April 30 at 2pm and 8pm; and Sunday, May 1 at 2pm. Tickets range from $40-$98.  

According to an announcement from the National Tour team, the performance of Hairspray that was scheduled to play at the State Theatre on April 16 has been rescheduled to February 18, 2023.

The Orange Tree Theatre today announces the full cast for the UK première of Pamela Carter's The Misfortune of the English. HAIRSPRAY, Broadway's Tony Award-winning musical comedy phenomenon, announced the principal cast that will feature Andrew Levitt (aka Nina West), Sandie Lee and introducing Niki Metcalf. This new North American tour, helmed by original director Jack O'Brien and original choreographer Jerry Mitchell, will play April 5-9 in St. Louis at the Fabulous Fox Theatre.

The Axelrod Performing Arts Center presents its highly anticipated production of Jason Robert Brown and Marsha Norman’s musical The Bridges of Madison County this March. The production is directed by Hunter Foster who played the role of Bud Johnson in the original Broadway cast.
