Coyote REP's RATED M FOR MATURE Extends for FringeNYC Encore Series thru 9/22 by BWW News Desk - Sep 07, 2012
Coyote REP has announced that RATED M FOR MATURE by Greg Ayers, a play that was featured in Coyote REP's 2010 Works-in-Development Series, will now be featured in The New York International Fringe Festival's Encore Series! After a successful run in this year's FringeNYC, Rated M for Mature was selected from among nearly 200 FringeNYC productions to move into the SoHo Playhouse for Encores. This special honor gives the production an extension of five more performances, starting Monday, September 10th. (more...)

FringeNYC Encore Series Begins Today by BWW News Desk - Sep 07, 2012
Now in its 7th year, the FringeNYC Encore Series gives theatre lovers another chance at seeing some of the most critically acclaimed and most crowd-pleasing shows from the Festival. Beginning September 7th, the FringeNYC Encore Series will present 19 'Best of The Festival' shows in rotating repertory at SoHo Playhouse and The Huron Club (both located at 15 Vandam Street between 6th Avenue & Varick) as well as at The Players Theater (115 MacDougal Street between Bleecker and Houston Streets). BWW Reviews: RATED M FOR MATURE and STORY TIME WITH MR. BUTTERMAN Hit FringeNYC 2012 by Trish Vignola - Aug 26, 2012
I wrapped up the day at "Story Time with Mr. Buttermen: Fables for Adults Living in the Modern World." Although this was a musical comedy that wound up being much lighter fare than "Rated M for Mature", they essentially had a lot in common. It made for a the perfect twin bill. Essentially, "Story Time" answers what happens to teens like Eric, if the final third of his show didn't happen and he grew up.
Both are homage to the disaffected.

Paul Dobie to Direct World Premiere of RATED M FOR MATURE at FringeNYC by BWW News Desk - Jul 18, 2012
Rated M for Mature, which will make its world premiere this summer at the Cherry Lane Theatre as part of the New York International Fringe Festival, is inspired by real events and will feature direction from Paul Dobie (currently the Assistant Director of Wicked who also served as AD on the Broadway productions of Thoroughly Modern Millie, Glengarry Glen Ross and Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me). The production will run from Wed. 8/22 thru Sun. 8/26 and is produced by Ryan Duncan (the original casts of Shrek and Altar Boyz).

The Who's TOMMY Benefit Concert Raises $30,000 For BC/EFA by BWW News Desk - Mar 05, 2009
The recent event The Who's TOMMY: 15th Anniversary Benefit Concert presented by The Path Fund / Rockers on Broadway raised $30,000, to directly benefit Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS, Broadway Dreams Foundation and the Bachmann-Strauss Dystonia and Parkinson Foundation among other charities. Directed by Donnie Kehr, the one-night-only milestone event featured the original cast of the groundbreaking Broadway musical.
