Syracuse Stage presents White Christmas, based on the Paramount Pictures film with Music and Lyrics by Irving Berlin and Book by David Ives and Paul Blake. The production is directed by Paul Barnes with musical direction by Christopher Drobny and choreography by David Wanstreet. White Christmas runs November 23 - December 30. Rattlestick Playwrights Theater Artistic Director David Van Asselt and Managing Director Brian Long have announced the cast and creative team for the world premiere of Through the Yellow Hour, a play written and directed by Adam Rapp (Pulitzer Prize finalist for Red Light Winter). The first production of the company's 18th season, Through the Yellow Hour will begin performances on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at Rattlestick Theater (224 Waverly Place-off Seventh Avenue South, between Perry and West 11th Streets). The cast includes Hani Furstenberg, Brian Mendes, Matt Pilieci, Danielle Slavick, Alok Tewari, Joanne Tucker, and Vladimir Versailles. (more...)

Actors Theatre of Phoenix Presents CIRCLE MIRROR TRANSFORMATION by BWW News Desk - Mar 11, 2011
Annie Baker's 2010 OBIE-Award winner for Best New American Play, Circle Mirror Transformation, closes out Actors Theatre's 25th anniversary season from April 22 through May 8 on Stage West at The Herberger Theater Center, 222 E. Monroe.
Called "absorbing, unblinking and sharply funny" by The New York Times and a "very compassionate and quite lovely new play from rising young scribe Annie Baker" by The Chicago Tribune, the play follows four students in a small-town Vermont acting class. (more...)
