Legendary entertainer, actor and songwriter Paul Anka will perform Anka Sings Sinatra: His Songs, My Songs, My Way at The Hanover Theatre and Conservatory for the Performing Arts on Thursday, May 16 at 7:30pm. Tickets are on sale now to theatre members and go on sale to the general public on Friday, February 1 at 10 am.

The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) and CBC are thrilled to announce legendary singer-songwriter Corey Hart as the 2019 inductee into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.  Hart, who has sold over 16 million albums worldwide, will be officially inducted into The Canadian Music Hall of Fame during The 2019 JUNO Awards on Sunday, March 17. To celebrate his induction, Hart will take the stage at Budweiser Gardens to perform on live television for the first time in over 20 years. Fans from across the world can tune-in to watch this special performance as part of The 2019 JUNO Awards broadcast live on CBC, CBC Radio, the free CBC Gem streaming servicein Canada and globally at cbcmusic.ca/junos.

The McCallum Theatre presents Paul Anka and "Anka Sings Sinatra" for two performances. The Thursday, January 31, performance at 8:00pm is presented through the generosity of Paul and Carol Hill. The Friday, February 1, performance at 8:00pm is presented through the generosity of Henry and Carol Levy and Ron and Aviva Snow. A note from Paul: "The Anka Sings Sinatra tour will honor a great artist who has influenced me more than anyone else throughout my career, Frank Sinatra. It will also feature the hits that have spanned my career on this 60th anniversary year. It will be a night filled with his songs, my songs, my way!"

Julio Iglesias, one of the most popular Latin artists in history with over 300 million albums sold worldwide, brings his 50 Year Anniversary tour to the Majestic Theatre (224 E. Houston St.) in San Antonio, TX on February 27, 2019 at 8PM. Tickets go on sale this Wednesday, December 19 at 10AM.

Manoa Valley Theatre continues its momentous 50th anniversary season with the expansion of its Studio Series with the Island Treasure Music and Comedy Series. Adding on to the already popular regular appearances by the Hotclub of Hulaville, the next of which are January 28 and 29, the theatre will present some of Hawaii's favorite entertainers in a six-part subscription series beginning in November with the incomparable Shari Lynn and running through August of 2019.

French classical pop singer Vincent Niclo will present a new series on BBC Radio 2 this autumn featuring exclusive interviews with a range of iconic French artists. The month kicks off with local songstress Melveen Leed and the return of the Honolulu Jazz Quartet presenting a Tribute to Bird & Dizzy: The Birth of Bebop. Jazz talent Abe Lagrimas Jr. is up next, followed by the Na Hoku “Female Vocalist of the Year” Kimié Miner. Paula Fuga returns with a tribute to Aretha Franklin and soul-singer DeAndre Brackensick is back with Shawn Pimental. We welcome Willie K back to the stage following a successful mainland tour and present the Blue Note debut of Kamuela Kahoano. The youngest of the family, Rodney Cazimero joins us later in the month followed by local giants Kumuhau,Brother Noland & John Cruz and Kuana Torres Kahele presenting 'Kakuhihewa, his tribute to O'ahu.

The Arcadia Performing Arts Center announces today its new 2018-19 Season 7. Presented by the Arcadia Performing Arts Foundation, the new season features legacy artists and emerging talent, reflects a diverse community, and raises funds to give back to local schools.
