MUNCHED was produced in 2009 in Los Angeles by Buzzworks Theater Company where it won the LA Drama Critics Circle award, The LA WEEKLY award and the McDonald Award for Playwriting excellence. Dinner at Grandma's is the story of Grandma Gracie Riley & the lasting effect of a group of elder black women in the South as they find the courage to fight for their rights & the rights of their people, as they gather around the 'meeting place,' Grandma's dinner table.
