The first Broadway revival of A.R. Gurney's thrilling Love Letters has announced a new general rush policy. A limited number of $37 general rush tickets will be available for each performance when the box office opens for that day's performance(s). Limited to 2 tickets per patron, $37 (inclusive of a $2 facility fee) rush tickets are available for purchase by cash or credit card at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre box office (256 West 47th Street).

The 2014 Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway will be handed out on Sunday, May 4, 2014 at NYU Skirball Center beginning at 7:00pm EST, and hosted by acclaimed husband and wife actors and comedians, Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman. This year's event will once again benefit The Actors Fund.

The Off-Broadway League today announced nominations in 18 categories and one special award for the 2014 Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway. The producers of A Christmas Story, The Musical have announced the full cast for the production when it arrives at The Theater at Madison Square Garden for its December 11 - 29, 2013 engagement. Reprising their roles will be Dan Lauria (Lombardi, 'The Wonder Years,' 'Sullivan and Son') as Jean Shepherd, John Bolton (Spamalot, Contact, Titanic, 'Boardwalk Empire,' 'Gossip Girl') as the Old Man, Tony Award nominee Erin Dilly (Nice Work if You Can Get It, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang) as Mother and Caroline O'Connor (Chicago, Moulin Rouge) as school teacher Miss Shields. Eli Tokash (Mary Poppins) will play Ralphie at certain perforances, Noah Baird as little brother Randy, and Jake Lucas (Newsies, Far From Heaven), donning the famous spectacles will take on the lead role of Ralphie.

Christopher Durang's new comedy, Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, which won the 2013 Tony Award for Best Play, will end its extended premiere on Broadway at the Golden Theatre today, August 25.

Tony Award-winner Julie White steps into the role of 'Masha' in Christopher Durang's new comedy, Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, tonight, Tuesday, July 30. Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike began performances on Tuesday, March 5 and opened on Thursday, March 14.

Producers Joey Parnes and Larry Hirschhorn have announced that Christopher Durang's new comedy, Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, which last night won the 2013 Tony Award for Best Play, will again extend its premiere Broadway engagement at the Golden Theatre. With this second and final extension, Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike will now end its run Sunday, August 25 (it was originally scheduled to end its run on Sunday, June 30). The critically lauded play has swept the awards circuit this year, having now been named Best Play by every major theatrical awards organization including the aforementioned Tony Awards, the New York Drama Critics' Circle, the Drama Desk, the Drama League, and the Outer Critics Circle. Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike began performances on Tuesday, March 5 and opened on Thursday, March 14.

Most people expected after last night's Tony Awards that A CHRISTMAS STORY would be headed back to Broadway, but it turns out that they had a slightly different plan in mind.

Company members from A Christmas Story, The Musical will reunite for their appearance on the Tony Awards telecast on CBS. The cast will travel from various corners of the country and the world including Dan Lauria from Los Angeles, Johnny Rabe from Chicago, Caroline O'Connor from Australia, and Broadway's favorite four-foot tap dancing whiz kid, Luke Spring, from Ashburn, Virginia.

The producers of A Christmas Story, The Musical, including Peter Billingsley, who starred as Ralphie in the original 1983 film, are holding open auditions to find exceptionally talented kids for the upcoming 2013 production. Recently nominated for three 2013 Tony Awards including Best Musical,A Christmas Story, The Musical seeks young actors to play Ralphie, his friends and classmates, including: Randy, Flick, Schwartz, Scut Farcus, Grover Dill, Mary Beth, and Esther Jane.

Christmas arrived early this year for Kansas City Repertory Theatre. A Christmas Story, The Musical!, which had its world premiere at the Rep in 2009, today was nominated for three Tony Awards, including Best Musical.
