“Star Trek: The Next Generation” follows this iconic character into the next chapter of his life. MGM's Orion Pictures and Audible will present a one night only performance, Women Talking: An Evening of Wild Female Imagination, at Audible's off-Broadway Minetta Lane Theatre on Monday evening, January 9th. The performance will be recorded and available later in January on Audible. 

Nicole Kidman is set to star in the upcoming original series LIONESS alongside series leads Zoe Saldaña and Laysla De Oliveira. Kidman will also serve as an executive producer under her production company, Blossom Films. From Academy Award nominee Taylor Sheridan, LIONESS is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios.

Olivia Hussey and Leonard Whiting, who starred in the 1968 film adaptation of Romeo and Juliet, are suing Paramount for child abuse over the film's bedroom scene, in which they claim to have been filmed nude without their knowledge.

On the heels of becoming the highest-grossing domestic and global film of 2022, the studio’s #1 film of all time, as well as the #1 best-selling Digital release ever, Paramount announced that TOP GUN: MAVERICK is the most watched movie globally in its premiere weekend streaming on Paramount +. 

PICTURES FROM HOME will now begin previews on Broadway on Friday, January 13, 2023,  instead of the previously announced January 10th first preview, at Studio 54 on Broadway. Opening night is Thursday, February 9, 2023.

Due to unsafe winter weather conditions, today’s (December 23rd ) 1pm matinee performance of MOULIN ROUGE! The Musical has been canceled at the Paramount Theatre.

More. That, Dear Readers, is the watchword the creators of the stage adaption of the 2001 Baz Luhrmann film, “Moulin Rouge!”, subscribed to. They threw in more sparkle wherever they could in this stage musical, currently playing at the Paramount. Unfortunately, they also threw in more songs, more lights, and certainly more bass in this spectacle that loses the heart and charm of the original in favor of assaulting the audience’s senses.

The Sun Valley Music Festival will present its fifth Winter Season at the Argyros Performing Arts Center from March 15-17, 2023. The program will feature Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition, one of the most popular works in all classical music, in an arrangement for 21 brass and percussion musicians.
