Wetumpka Depot Players Will Premiere A VERY SECOND SAMUEL CHRISTMAS, 12/13-16

The Wetumpka Depot Players are wrapping up their 32nd season with the world premiere of Pamela Parker's play A Very Second Samuel Christmas. The occasion will be a Christmas miracle of sorts as Parker resisted writing a Second Samuel sequel for many years. "People have asked me to write a Christmas play featuring the characters of Second Samuel, but I told them it would never happen. Then the folks at the Wetumpka Depot asked. Who could say no to them?" said Parker referring to the Wetumpka troupe who traveled Second Samuel to a nationwide theatre festival in 2011.
