CARLY ROSE WATCH: Sonenclar Takes No. 1 Spot on X FACTOR!

Broadway's Carly Rose Sonenclar is moving on to the Top 8 of this year's X FACTOR on FOX. But the good news didn't stop there. This week's rankings revealed that Sonenclar had bumped off Tate Stevens to reach the number one spot! Upon hearing the news she shouted, 'Oh my God! Thank you to everyone who voted for me!' Double the elimination meant double the drama on last night's THE X FACTOR on FOX. Two of the acts, Lyric145 and Jennel Garcia were sent home, leaving only the Top 10 to move on to next week's round of competition. And sitting pretty once again in the number two spot was Broadway's own Carly Rose Sonenclar. (more...)

Double Elimination Rocks Tonight's Edition of THE X FACTOR

Tonight, on the LIVE results show, and in a shocking double elimination, Jennel Garcia, one of Demi Lovato's Young Adults and Lyric 145, one of Simon Cowell's Groups, were eliminated from THE X FACTOR. Hosts Khloe Kardashian Odom and Mario Lopez announced that Lyric 145 received the fewest votes following last night's performance show, immediately eliminating them from the competition. Then it was revealed that Garcia and Paige Thomas both received the next fewest votes. Judges Simon Cowell, Lovato, L.A. Reid and Britney Spears listened to the two finalists each perform their "song for survival," and after deliberation, Garcia was sent home. Also tonight, this week's individual vote rankings were revealed, from the bottom 10th act to the No. 1 vote-getter.
