On Monday, April 25, Jim Caruso and the Broadway at Birdland concert series were thrilled to present the 30 Year Reunion Celebration of the Broadway Opening of Duke Ellington's Sophisticated Ladies, with the Duke Ellington Big Band and original cast members. He joins a cast which includes Teal Wicks as Elphaba, Katie Rose Clarke as Glinda, Kathy Fitzgerald as Madame Morrible, P.J. Benjamin as The Wizard, Etai BenShlomo as Boq, Jenny Fellner as Nessarose, and Tom Flynn as Dr. Dillamond. WICKED Miniseries Deemed 'a Fabulous Idea' by ABC President

WICKED Shatters Own Record for Highest Grossing Bway Show

For the third time in just six weeks, the Broadway smash WICKED has grossed over $2 million for one week of performances. For the week ending Sunday, November 28, the musical, now in its 8th year, grossed $2,150,665, and for the week ending December 26, the musical surpassed its own record, grossing $2,153,110. For the week ending January 2, 2011, the musical shattered the record once again, making Broadway history by taking in an unprecedented $2,228,235 and setting a new house record at the Gershwin Theatre.
