Village Green Productions has announced the return of THE BOOMERANG EFFECT, written by Matthew Leavitt, produced by Del Shores and directed by Damaso Rodriguz. THE BOOMERANG EFFECT will mark the final production Mr. Rodriguez will direct in Los Angeles prior to his becoming Artistic Director of the Artists Repertory Theatre in Portland. As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Broadway legend Elaine Stritch recently announced that she would be leaving New York City for good, after 71 years here, to relocate to her home state of Michigan. According to the New York Post, the 88 year-old just left her home at the Carlyle, and 35 hotel employees were there to see her off when she got off the elevator. (more...)
