Cape Fear Regional Theatre (CFRT) presents the hilariously thought-provoking play 'No Child...' October 31-November 17. Written by Nilaja Sun 'No Child...' tells the story of Ms. Sun, a teaching artist in the Bronx at fictional Malcom X High School. In order to build community, Ms. Sun must navigate teenage angst and overworked administrators. 'No Child...' sheds light on the life changing impact one teacher can have in their students' lives.

Civic Ensemble's Godfrey L. Simmons, Jr. will perform Mike Daisey's edgy, funny, and provocative monologue The Trump Card at the Kitchen Theatre Company this Summer! The 2ND ANNUAL ITHACA ONE-MINUTE PLAY FESTIVAL (#1MPF) returns to Ithaca for its second year, in partnership with the Kitchen Theatre Company. The Arden Theatre Company has announced its full 2019-20 subscription season. The lineup includes the previously announced musicals RAGTIME and ONCE ON THIS ISLAND, Tennessee Williams' A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE, plus the world premiere Philadelphia playwright Lorene Cary's MY GENERAL TUBMAN. Hartford Stage announced today the last two plays of the 56th season. Incoming Hartford Stage Artistic Director Melia Bensussenwill stage the Eugene O'Neill coming-of-age comedy Ah, Wilderness! It will be Bensussen's first production as Artistic Director at Hartford Stage. Former Hartford Stage Artistic Director Michael Wilson will return to direct the original play that inspired the Oscar-winning film The King's Speech, written by its Oscar-winning screenwriter David Seidler.
