Williamstown Theatre Festival Artistic Director Jenny Gersten announced the plays and artists participating in the annual Fridays @ 3 Reading Series, beginning today, July 13 at the Paresky Center on the Williams Campus. Every week, WTF presents a reading of a new play featuring Festival performers, written and directed by some of the most exciting theatre artists working today.

Roundabout Theatre Company has just announced a special benefit performance following the smash hit limited engagement of HARVEY on August 5th at 7PM. Roundabout Theatre Company's production of HARVEY, directed by Scott Ellis, was originally scheduled to play its final performance on Sunday, August 5th at 2PM.

As part of the current three-play Royal Court at the Duke of York's Season with Posh by Laura Wade, Jumpy by April De Angelis and Constellations by Nick Payne, four of the UK's leading playwrights will direct one of their all-time favourite plays in a series of one-off afternoon readings from 29 June at the Duke of York's Theatre in a special event supported by The Ambassador Theatre Group.
Nick Payne, Polly Stenham, Roy Williams and David Eldridge will select their favourite plays and will have less than two days to bring their vision to life with a full cast to be announced for staged readings on Friday afternoons this summer.

Tony-Winner Douglas Hodge to Return to Broadway as CYRANO

Roundabout Theatre Company has just announced that Tony® Award winner Douglas Hodge will star in a new Broadway production of Cyrano de Bergerac by Edmond Rostand, with a translation by Ranjit Bolt and directed by Jamie Lloyd.
Cyrano de Bergerac will begin previews on September 14, 2012 and open officially on October 11, 2012 at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway (227 West 42nd Street). This will be a limited engagement through November 25, 2012. The full cast & design team will be announced soon.

Sheffield Theatres and Paines Plough transfer the trio of plays about love, life and the world to Shoreditch Town Hall for a London run ahead of a national tour. The Roundabout Season will run from Wednesday 19 September to Saturday 27 October and features One Day When We Were Young by Nick Payne, Lungs by Duncan MacMillan and The Sound of Heavy Rain by Penelope Skinner.
