Ashok Amritraj's Hyde Park International (HPI) announced today that the company has picked-up international rights to directors Will Finn and Daniel St. Pierre's 3D animated family adventure film LEGENDS OF OZ: DOROTHY'S RETURN starring Lea Michele, Martin Short, Dan Aykroyd, Jim Belushi and Kelsey Grammer. The film is from a script by Adam Balsam and Randi Barnes, based on the series of books by Roger Stanton Baum. Bonne Radford is producing alongside Ryan Carroll and Roland Carroll of Summertime Entertainment. (more...)

Brooke Shields to Direct CHICAGO at Hollywood Bowl; Runs 7/26-28

Brooke Shields has been announced as the director of the Hollywood Bowl's upcoming production of CHICAGO, which holds the record as the third longest running show in Broadway history. Rob Fisher has also been announced as the conductor of the production. Shields starred in CHICAGO both on Broadway and in London's West End and this marks her directing debut. Fisher's association with the show began with the 1996 Broadway revival and he continues to be supervising music director of CHICAGO productions around the globe. (more...)

The much-anticipated world premiere of SENSE & SENSIBILITY THE MUSICAL, book and lyrics by Jeffrey Haddow and music by Neal Hampton, receives its world premiere April 5 - May 26, 2013 (press opening April 11), presented by the Denver Center Theatre Company, in The Stage Theatre at the Denver Center for Performing Arts at 14th and Champa. Producing Artistic Director Kent Thompson selected SENSE & SENSIBILITY THE MUSICAL after it became a runaway hit at the 2012 Colorado New Play Summit.
