AMERICAN MU$CLE To Make World Premiere At The New York Theater Festival

Award-winning playwright Fred Gordon's new play AMERICAN MU$CLE will have its World Premiere at The New York Theater Festival in June. Opening night is slated for Monday, June 13 at 9pm at Teatro Latea on The Lower East Side. The production is directed by David F.M. Vaughn who previously directed two plays by Gordon.

Emmett Till, A New American Opera - a powerful concert performance conceived by playwright and librettist Clare Coss and composer Mary D. Watkins and in association with John Jay College, Opera Noire International, The Harlem Chamber Players and Harlem Arts Alliance will have its world premiere on March 23rd with an encore performance on March 24th at the Gerald W. Lynch Theatre at John Jay College.
Theater for the New City Extends World Premiere of I JUST WANT TO TELL SOMEBODY

To share an outstanding solo show with the widest possible audience, Theater for the New City, 155 First Ave., has extended the world premiere of 'I Just Want To Tell Somebody,' written and performed by Ronald 'Smokey' Stevens, through January 30. (Its original run was January 6 to 23.)
