BET Networks is burning up television screens this summer with the rollout of its Summer 2015 programming slate, including hot new original series, returning hits, mind-blowing mega-specials, fun original movies, star-studded live events, and in-depth news specials. On the heels of a successful spring programming season, BET Networks keeps the momentum going with over 16 program premieres planned throughout the summer, as the network continues its reign as the #1 network for African American households. BET is bringing the heat as its diverse slate is set to capture viewers' attention, while reflecting and celebrating the lives of African American adults.

Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater's two-week spring engagement at Lincoln Center's David H. Koch Theater kicks off on Wednesday, June 10th with The Ailey Spirit Gala, a one-night-only benefit performance and party honoring the Ford Foundation.  

Starz today announced the highly anticipated return of original series 'Power' on Saturday, June 6th at 9pm ET/PT. The second season of 'Power' features ten hour-long episodes, a bump from the first season's order of eight episodes.

Feral cat rescue group, Kitty Bungalow Charm School for Wayward Cats, hosted its 4th annual celebrity filled benefit concert, A CATbaret, presented by The World's Best Cat Litter, at the historic Belasco Theatre in downtown Los Angeles. The one-night only musical revue raised $45,000 for Kitty Bungalow's Humane Education program. The program will help raise a generation of responsible pet owners, while empowering youth to participate in TNR (trap, neuter, release). As animal advocated in their communities they will help create a more humane city for pets and people alike.

Starz announced today a season two pick up of 'Power,' the New York-based drama starring Omari Hardwick. Creator, showrunner and executive producer Courtney Kemp Agboh and fellow executive producers Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson, Mark Canton, David Knoller and Randall Emmett will return for the sophomore season. Production is set to begin on the 10-episode second season in and around New York, as well as at its home base at Steiner Studios in Brooklyn this September.

Starz is offering a multiplatform, nationwide sampling of the first episode of its highly anticipated STARZ Original Series 'Power' beginning Saturday, May 31 with an exclusive reveal of the 5-minute opening scene of 'Power' on Twitter beginning at 1:00 pm ET today.

BET Networks, the #1 network for the African-American audience and a top 20 cable network among all adults 18-49, announced its upcoming programming schedule for BET and Centric at its annual Upfront presentation.

Starz announced today that its highly anticipated new original series 'Power' will debut on Saturday, June 7th at 9pm ET/PT with the release of Executive Producer Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson's new music video for 'Big Rich Town.' The single, which was created specifically for the show and will serve as the main title theme, is performed by 50 Cent and features never before seen footage from the New York based crime drama from Emmy(R) nominated writer Courtney Kemp Agboh. Starz also released the official key art for the series.
