From 10 October 2011 Stephen Ashfield (Emmett) and Ben Freeman (Warner), will be joining Carley Stenson (Elle Woods), Natalie Casey (Paulette) and Peter Davison (Professor Callahan) in the Olivier Award winning show Legally Blonde The Musical, which is currently booking until 27 October 2012 at the Savoy Theatre. With this new UK production (which is not so much new as a slightly altered version of the US tour with the same set) they had the chance to sort out the problems that plagued a show that is dying to break out, sadly the problems are more noticeable than ever.

As previously reported, Dolly Parton's 9 to 5 is headed to the West End, with an opening night set for October 16 at the Manchester Opera House. The Daily Mail announces today that Jackie Clune will play 'Violet,' alongside Bonnie Langford as 'Roz,' Natalie Casey as 'Judy,' Ben Richards as 'Franklin Hart' and Amy Lennox as 'Doralee.' BREAKING: LEGALLY BLONDE To Close At Savoy, April 7

After almost 1000 West End manicures, perms and make-overs, Legally Blonde The Musical will have its final performance at the Savoy Theatre on Saturday 7 April 2012, when principal contracts end. The production now in its third year has transformed the Savoy Theatre into a pink haven for Elle and her sorority girlfriends. Legally Blonde The Musical opened in December 2009 to rave reviews and the show went on to win seven theatre awards including the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Musical. Legally Blonde The Musical continues its tour of the UK and plans are in place for an Australian production to open in Sydney later this year. (more...)

STAGE TUBE: Cafe de Paris Hosts WEST END BARES!

Stars of stage and screen descended on London's legendary Cafe de Paris, for a bold fundraising event, which saw hot performers get their kit off for charity. Hosted by TVs top fashion guru, Gok Wan - famous for his expert styling in dressing ordinary people up as well as making them look good naked - the event, West End Bares, involved around 100 of theatreland's finest.
