If you have ever spent an afternoon at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and had the opportunity to study some of the sketches done by Michelangelo Buonarroti or Leonardo Da Vinci you will be able to understand the feeling that accompanies seeing a lesser work by a creative genius. The drawings are fascinating, eerily beautiful and perhaps ultimately more revealing than the artist's more famous works - still you are always acutely aware that you are observing sketches and not the Mona Lisa or The David.

Tuna Does Vegas, the hilarious new installment from the legendary "Greater Tuna" creative team, rolls into Casa Mañana Theatre for a strictly limited engagement of eight performances beginning February 9th. Starring the incomparable duo Joe Sears and Jaston Williams, Tuna Does Vegas re-unites the lovable and eccentric characters from the 'third smallest town in Texas' as they take a rambling romp in Sin City. The hilarity begins when oddball-conservative radio host Arles Struvie announces on air that he and his wife Bertha Bumiller are heading to Vegas to renew their wedding vows…but everyone in Tuna, Texas goes along for the ride! Written by Jaston Williams, Joe Sears and Ed Howard, Tuna Does Vegas will feature the favorite char acters from the award-winning "Greater Tuna" productions with some new characters too! ----all staged under the directorial hand of Mr. Howard.

The Cathedral of St. John the Divine, in association with the Provincetown Tennessee Williams Theater Festival, is pleased to present an evening of poetry, theater and reminiscences in honor of the induction of Tennessee Williams into the Cathedral's Poets' Corner. On Thursday, November 5th at 7:00pm, theatre luminaries, friends of Mr. Williams and people who were inspired by his life work, will take part in the historic celebration. Participants include Eli Wallach & Anne Jackson, Vanessa Redgrave, Marian Seldes, John Guare, Olympia Dukakis, John Patrick Shanley, Gregory Mosher, Sylvia Miles, William Jay Smith, Lenya Rideout, Jeremy Lawrence, Wyatt Prunty, David Kaplan, Thomas Keith, Mitch Douglas, and current Cathedral Poet-in-Residence Charles F. Martin. It is expected that additional friends and colleagues of Mr. Williams will also be taking part in the evening.
