Teena Hostovich and Darrell Brooke just hosted a Pasadena Panto Season Launch Party in celebration of the Lythgoe Family Panto (LFP), in association with Pasadena Playhouse production of BEAUTY AND THE BEAST - A CHRISTMAS ROSE, which expands this winter at The Pasadena Civic Auditorium. Our goal to bring unique, left-of-center plays to the Nashville area that have never been performed here before, said Stephanie Houghton, founder of Gadabout Theater Company. Trevor is a truly unique work with a quirky sensibility that's surprisingly touching in places. We hope Nashville theatergoers will take a chance on experiencing something they're never seen here before.

Theatre Under The Stars and Lythgoe Family Panto have announced that John O'Hurley of Seinfeld and Broadway's CHICAGO, and Lauren Taylor of Disney's Best Friends Whenever, will be joining the cast starring as 'The King of Houston' and 'Princess Aurora'!

Lythgoe Family Panto (LFP) announces Ashley Argota (ABC Family's The Fosters ) as Tinker Bell, Riley Costello (NBC's Hairspray Live! ) as Peter Pan, Clarice Ordaz (NBC's So You Think You Can Dance ) as Tiger Lily, Mark Ryan ( Black Sails on STARZ) as Captain Hook, David F.M. Vaughn (Broadway's Shrek The Musical) as Smee, and Audrey Whitby (Nickelodeon's The Thudermans ) in PETER PAN AND TINKER BELL - A PIRATES CHRISTMAS at the Balboa Theatre.

Lythgoe Family Panto (LFP), in association with Pasadena Playhouse have announced casting for BEAUTY AND THE BEAST: A CHRISTMAS ROSE. Jonah Platt (Broadway's Wicked) will star as The Beast; Gedde Watanabe (Broadway's Pacific Overtures, John Hughes' Sixteen Candles) as Maurice; Jared Gertner (Broadway's The Book Of Mormon) as Pierre; and John Tartaglia (Broadway's Shrek The Musical), and as Bistro.

Trevor is no longer the cute and cuddly chimp from his old days on variety shows of the likes of Sonny and Cher and Barbara Mandrel. He's now an adult chimpanzee wracked with cabin fever and dreams to get back to Hollywood.

In 1973 Morgan Fairchild made her then-Alhambra Dinner Theatre debut opposite Arte Johnson in The Seven Year Itch.  As part of its "50 Years of Memories" celebration, Ms. Fairchild returns to the Alhambra, now the Alhambra Theatre & Dining, more than 40 years later as Lexie in Dixie Swim Club.  Dixie Swim Club opens August 16, 2017.

Earlier this evening, Pittsburgh CLO Guild President Anne Liparulo announced the Guild's pledge of $500,000 to Pittsburgh CLO's Next Generation Campaign at the 62ndAnnual Pittsburgh CLO Guild Gala, "An Evening in Paris." This special gift was presented as a surprise to Van Kaplan, accompanied by the 2017 CLOE Award, in honor of his 20th Anniversary as Executive Producer of the organization. The gift ensures Pittsburgh CLO will surpass its $10 million Next Generation Campaign goal.

Kitchen Dog Theater continues its 26th season of theater with the area premiere of Trevor by Nick Jones. Inspired by true events,?Trevor?is a subversive comedy about fame, success, and the lies we tell ourselves to keep people from taking away an erratic, 200-pound chimpanzee. At the center of this hilarious and heart-wrenching play are two individuals fighting against a world unable to understand their love: Trevor, a chimpanzee who once performed in commercials with the likes of Morgan Fairchild, and his owner Sandra, who swears he would never hurt a fly...at least not on purpose. KDT Co-Artistic Director Tina Parker directs this hilarious and heartbreaking exploration of family, flawed communication, and humanity.

It's fascinating it takes a celebrity-obsessed chimpanzee to deliver the most human and touching of performances thanks to the combination of Kyle Sturdivant's acting prowess and a whipsmart script from Nick Jones.

1st Stage, Tysons Corner's award-winning professional theater, announces the extension of their critically-acclaimed production of Trevor by Nick Jones, directed by 1st Stage Artistic Director, Alex Levy until March 5.  

The Catastrophic Theatre presents Trevor by Nick Jones, running February 10th - March 4th, 2017 at The MATCH, 3400 Main Street, with performances on Thursday, Today and Saturday at 8 pm.
