New York City Center Celebrates the 10th Anniversary Season of the FALL FOR DANCE FESTIVAL in September

New York City Center is celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the Fall for Dance Festival with a very special season, beginning with two FREE evenings of dance at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park, hosted by The Public Theater, onSeptember 16 and 17 (Rain date, September 18). The Festival will continue at City Center from September 25 October 5 with performances by 20 acclaimed dance companies and artists from around the world, including three new works from today¹s most exciting young choreographers, commissioned by City Center, in celebration of the tenth anniversary, all for the low ticket price of $15. The Festival¹s many free pre-show events will include dance lessons and panels by choreographers, artists and dance educators. Tickets will go on sale Sunday, September 8 at 11 a.m. (more...)

NiCori Studios and Productions in association with Oakeside Bloomfield Cultural Center announces a new installment of the monthly concert series, 'Music at the Mansion', on Sunday, May 19, at 3pm. Denver Center Attraction Announces Nominees for The Bobby G Awards

Denver Center Attractions announces the 2013 nominees for The Bobby G Awards - the Colorado regional awards program for The National High School Musical Theater Awards. Fifteen public and private high schools in the seven Denver metro counties participated in the inaugural season. The awards ceremony, on May 30 at 7pm in The Seawell Grand Ballroom, includes performances from the shows nominated for outstanding overall production and honors outstanding achievements by students and educators made in the areas of performance, design, direction, choreography, technical production and overall production excellence. Blue Man Group Announces Updated Performance Schedule at Monte Carlo Resort and Casino

Blue Man Group offers a free Procession, an energetic luminescent parade, daily at 6:15 p.m. (excluding dark days) on the casino floor for guests to experience prior to the show. The Procession features custom made instruments including the Percussipede, a musical centipede of percussion instruments, and a puppet co-created by world-renowned 3-D designer Michael Curry as well as a humanoid robot designed by Show Creators Inc. Each day, a Blue Man groove will weave and shake its way through the casino; a musical celebration that will lure and entice unsuspecting visitors into the magical, imaginative world that is Blue Man Group. Jacques Lacombe to Conduct NJSO in RITE OF SPRING, 6/7-9

Music Director Jacques Lacombe and the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra present Stravinsky's groundbreaking, riot-inducing The Rite of Spring on its 2012-13 classical season finale program, June 7-9 in Newark and Morristown. The NJSO opens the program with the Prelude and 'Liebestod' from Wagner's Tristan und Isolde as part of a celebration of the 200th anniversary of the composer's birth; the program also features the concert suite from Debussy's Pelleas et Melisande.
