Denver Center Attraction Announces Nominees for The Bobby G Awards

Denver Center Attractions announces the 2013 nominees for The Bobby G Awards - the Colorado regional awards program for The National High School Musical Theater Awards. Fifteen public and private high schools in the seven Denver metro counties participated in the inaugural season. The awards ceremony, on May 30 at 7pm in The Seawell Grand Ballroom, includes performances from the shows nominated for outstanding overall production and honors outstanding achievements by students and educators made in the areas of performance, design, direction, choreography, technical production and overall production excellence. La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts and McCoy Rigby Entertainment present an all-new revival of one of the greatest musicals of all time, SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS, book by Lawrence Kasha and David Landay, lyrics, music and new songs by Johnny Mercer, Gene De Paul, Al Kasha and Joel Hirschhorn, based on the MGM Film 'The Sobbin' Women' by Stephen Vincent Benet, originally directed for Broadway by Lawrence Kasha and originally produced on Broadway by Kaslan Productions, Inc., SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS will feature musical direction by Dennis Castellano, choreography by Patti Colombo and will be directed by Glenn Casale. Broadway. Living in her Cadillac. "Princess Leia's Mom." Debbie Reynolds has so many stories to tell. She came to Hollywood at 16 and has had a rollercoaster career ever since. Her new memoir, Unsinkable, is aptly named. It comes out the day before her 92Y talk - which is the only public event she has in New York City for this book tour.
