Concord Music Publishing has signed an exclusive worldwide administration agreement with composer-lyricist Tom Kitt. The new deal, effective immediately, covers his full music publishing catalog and future works.

Ford's Theatre Director Paul R. Tetreault today announced the Ford's Theatre 2020-2021 season will include: Horton Foote's The Trip to Bountiful, directed by Michael Wilson and featuring Nancy Robinette; the D.C.-premiere of a new play based on the real-life friendship of contralto Marian Anderson and physicist Albert Einstein titled My Lord, What a Night, written by Deborah Brevoort and directed by Sheldon Epps; the musical Man of La Mancha, featuring Kevin McAllister and directed by Stephen Rayne; and A Christmas Carol featuring Craig Wallace in the role of Ebenezer Scrooge for the fifth year.

Theatre enthusiasts packed the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts tonight to hear Founding Artistic Director Robert Kelley, incoming Artistic Director Tim Bond, and Executive Director Phil Santora of TheatreWorks Silicon Valley announce the lineup for the 2019 Regional Theatre Tony Award-winning company's 2020-21 season, which launches this summer.

Man of La Mancha /book by Dale Wasserman/music by Mitch Leigh and lyrics by Joe Darion/ directed by Chuck Ketter/choreographed by Daniel Solis/ music direction by Douglas Austin/Candlelight Pavilion Dinner Theatre/through February 22 This has to be my hundreth viewing of this show. As many times as I see Man of La Mancha, I relish the music and high dramatic moments of this classic piece of theatre. Such is the case when the production is top notch, with the perfect actors and highly skilled direction. Candlelight Pavilion's current revival is fantastic with artistic director John LaLonde stepping into the role of Cervantes for the sixth time. In spite of the entire cast's excellent performances, he is the main reason to see this fine production.

mad Theatre of Tampa will present the classic American musical, Mitch Leigh's five-time Tony Award winner Man of La Mancha, at Shimberg Playhouse on June 6-22.

As the alternate Aldonza/Dulcinea, Cassidy Janson would be forgiven for feeling a little out of place amongst the otherwise established company. On the contrary, Janson brings the feisty Scottish (why is she Scottish?) waitress to life, giving the drama a much-needed burst of energy.

Over the last 5 years, Des Moines Symphony and Des Moines Performing Arts have come together to present a concert with one of Broadway's brightest stars. It has become a yearly tradition for me as well. Some of the past concerts have included Audra McDonald, Sutton Foster, Kristin Chenoweth, and Leslie Odem Jr. This year for their collaboration, they gave the audience an extra treat with two artists, Brian Stokes Mitchell and Megan Hilty. They both gave amazing performances that I won't soon forget.

Man of La Mancha is back in action in the West End starring Kelsey Grammer, Danielle De Niese, Nicholas Lyndhurst, Peter Polycarpou and Cassidy Janson. Let's see what the critics had to say.

Timber Lake Playhouse (TLP), the premier professional summer theatre of northwest Illinois, opens its 58th consecutive summer season for 2019 on May 11 with the ABBA Tribute Band, Dancing Queen. Artistic Director Paul Stancato and Executive Director Dan Danielowski are busily making preparations for the opening.

Man of La Mancha stars Kelsey Grammer and Danielle De Niese recently appeared on BBC's The One Show, where they talked about the West End musical. At the end of their appearance they performed 'The Impossible Dream.'
