LIGHTNING FROM HEAVEN Comes to the Workshop Theater,2/14-3/9

Workshop Theater Company is pleased to announce the New York premiere production of LIGHTNING FROM HEAVEN by WorkShop Theater Company Artistic Director and award-winning playwright Scott C. Sickles's, LIGHTNING FROM HEAVEN, directed by Thomas Coté. LIGHTNING FROM HEAVEN will play a limited engagement on the Main Stage at WorkShop Theater (312 West 36th Street, 4th Floor). Performances of this love story begin on Valentine's Day Thursday, February 14 and continue through Saturday, March 9. Opening Night is Saturday, February 16 (8 pm). Urban Stages WINTER RHYTHMS 2012 Begins Tonight

Urban Stages (Frances Hill, Founding Artistic Director), in association with producer/director/lyricist Peter Napolitano announces a series of musical evenings entitled WINTER RHYTHMS 2012, beginning on Tuesday, December 4 and running through Friday, December 15, 2012 at Urban Stages Theatre (259 West 30th Street). Musical Mondays Theatre Lab announces a concert of new songs from their upcoming seasons as well as songs from the soon to be released Sh-K-Boom/Ghostlght CD with live performances of brand new theatre songs from the Tony Award-winning Musical Theatre Workshop. The concert event has no admission charge and reservations are not being taken. 4 show Musical Mondays subscribers will receive a complimentary demo sampler copy of the CD. The concert will take place at the Jerry Orbach Theater in the Snapple Theater Center, 210 West 50th at 6:30 PM tonight, Oct 11. (more...)
