Conductor and composer Daniela Candillari makes her debut with the New York Philharmonic in their inaugural season inside the new David Geffen Hall on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at 7:30pm. The concert, An Evening with Yo-Yo Ma, features the world-renowned cellist in Elgar's spellbinding Cello Concerto, in addition to Dvořák's Symphony No. 8 and Missy Mazzoli's River Rouge Transfiguration.

San Diego Opera's 2022-2023 Season continues with Puccini's Tosca on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at the San Diego Civic Theatre for four performances. Additional performances are March 28, 31, and April 2 (matinee), 2023. All evening performances take place at 7:30 PM, matinees at 2 PM.

The season opens with the world premiere of El ultimó sueño de Frida y Diego, the Company debut of Puccini's Suor Angelica, the return of Gianni Schicchi after a fifty-two-year absence, and performances of the beloved warhorse Tosca. The dētour Series consists of the world premiere of three one-act operas by composer Nicolas Reveles for an evening entitled Ghosts, and The Falling and the Rising, an opera co-commissioned with the United States Army.

Ukranian soprano Liudmyla Monastryska steps into the lead role at The Met Opera, playing Puccini’s icy princess in Turandot. Tenor Yonghoon Lee is Calàf, the suitor who risks his head for her hand and sings the famed aria “Nessun dorma.” Soprano Michelle Bradley is the slave girl Liù, and legendary bass Ferruccio Furlanetto is Calàf’s long-lost father, Timur.  Turandot comes to The Ridgefield Playhouse on the big screen in HD on Monday, October 14th at 2pm, part of the Classical Series underwritten by Jeanne Cook, Liz & Steven Goldstone, and Sabina & Walter Slavin, with support from Whistle Stop Bakery.
