In honor of comedy legend Carl Reiner's 75 years in the business, Center Theatre Group presented a staged reading of "Enter Laughing, The Musical," which is inspired by Reiner's experiences as a young man struggling to break into theatre in New York. The one night only event directed by Stuart Ross ("Forever Plaid"), was performed at the Mark Taper Forum on Monday, January 28, 2013. Box office receipts were $290,000 and proceeds from this special event benefit CTG programs that support emerging artists.

Mandy Gonzalez has joined the cast of Rockwell: Life on a Palette, a new musical based on Norman Rockwell's covers for the Saturday Evening Post, which will receive staged readings in New York City on January 10 and 11, 2013. With book and lyrics by Eleanor Albano and Anthony Barnao, and music by Ron Abel, this reading of Rockwell will be directed by Glenn Casale. (more...)

Coyote StageWorks launches its fourth season on November 23 with the Tony-nominated comedy "Souvenir" and follows up with a season that consists of "a little something for everyone". For the second season in a row, all productions will be staged at the Annenberg Theatre which is located at The Palm Springs Museum Of Art in downtown Palm Springs. CSW's mission is to bring affordable, entertaining, and thought-provoking theatre to Palm Springs and the surrounding communities of the Coachella Valley and to create an Actors' Equity Theater of local, regional, and national influence.
