AN ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE Begins Final 8 Performances; Will Close 11/18

Manhattan Theatre Club's new Broadway production of Henrik Ibsen's An Enemy of the People by Rebecca Lenkiewicz, directed by Tony winner Doug Hughes, begins the final 8 performances of its acclaimed limited engagement tonight at 7 PM. When it ends its extended, acclaimed run on Sunday, November 18 at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street), the production will have played 59 regular performances and 26 previews. MTC's AN ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE Extends Through November 18

Manhattan Theatre Club has announced that the critically acclaimed revival of Henrik Ibsen's AN ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE by Rebecca Lenkiewicz, directed by Tony Award winner Doug Hughes, is extending one week due to popular demand at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street). Tickets for the production are now on sale through Sunday, November 18. (more...)

Manhattan Theatre Club will present the American premiere of Rebecca Lenkiewicz's new version of AN ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE by Henrik Ibsen, directed by Tony Award winner Doug Hughes (Doubt, The Royal Family, The Whipping Man, Defiance) on Broadway this fall. Starring four-time Tony Award winner Boyd Gaines and Emmy Award winner Richard Thomas, AN ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE will play the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre, with previews beginning Tuesday, September 4, 2012 and opening on Thursday, September 27, 2012.
