American Songbook Association has announced that Broadway stars Christine Andreas, Liz Callaway, Jason Graae, and Sally Mayes have joined the lineup of their Third Annual Gala to honor Stephen Schwartz on Monday, May 9 at 7:30 PM.

Following a sold-out opening on February 26th, the producers of Art Bath today announced the second and third evenings of their new performance series on March 26th and April 23rd at 8:00 p.m. Art Bath's monthly immersive salons  host some of New York City's most iconic artists and take place at Manhattan's Blue Building, a restored factory space on East 46th Street.

The original “Dainty June” in the 1959 Broadway production of Gypsy is presenting a cabaret program of classic French compositions in her new show, MON HISTOIRE EN CHANSONS FRANCAISES.

The plot follows a mother (Emma Roberts), father (John Gallagher Jr.), and their infant son as they move into a remote farmhouse, which harbors a dark, haunting history. As they begin to uncover their home's past, the mother’s fragility escalates to a state of psychosis that jeopardizes their family's safety.

The American Songbook Association Inc. along with its official magazine, Cabaret Scenes, welcomes three new board members: Ann Kittredge of Forest Hills, Michael Roberts of Manhattan, and Robin Westle of Westchester County and Manhattan.

Ms. Lester succeeds Interim Executive Director Michael Roberts who assumed the role last June after the retirement of longtime Director Noreen Tomassi. Ms. Lester was selected after an extensive national search and began the role on April 6, 2021.

Dancers from American Ballet Theatre, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater will come together for two virtual company classes on Tuesday, June 2 and Thursday, June 4. STEPHEN HANKS' CABARET ALL-STARS FIGHT CANCER, a fundraiser dedicated to the late cabaret performer Charlotte Patton, will be presented on March 10, 2020 at 7 pm at Hidden Cabaret (at The Secret Room), Behind the Cooper Door at 707 8th Avenue, between 44th and 45th Streets. While the name Walt Disney will certainly be familiar to all those arriving at the Delacorte for Public Works' stage adaptation of the 1997 animated musical feature Hercules, hopefully a good deal of them will leave Central Park remembering the name Lear deBessonet.

The Drama League (Gabriel Stelian-Shanks, Executive Artistic Director) today announced the 2019 Drama League Awards Nominees for Outstanding Production of a Play, Outstanding Revival of a Play, Outstanding Production of a Musical, Outstanding Revival of a Musical, and the much-coveted Distinguished Performance Award. The nominations were announced this morning by the current stars of Waitress, Shoshana Bean and Jeremy Jordan, at the official announcement event at Sardi's Restaurant, which was streamed live online here at BroadwayWorld.

The Martin E. Segal Theatre Center is happy to announce the full line-up of its annual PEN World Voices International Play Festival. As part of the 2019 PEN World Voices Festival of International Literature, the International Play Festival presents play readings with some of the most significant theatre artists from Germany. All six playwrights are part of the Gorki Theater in Berlin-a safe haven for immigrant, refugee and international theatre artists in Europe. Legendary Artistic Director of the Gorki, Shermin Langhoff will join in conversation about their work. The Festival aims to enrich awareness of global dialogues, by bridging American audiences and international theatre-makers. All readings will be followed by discussion.

Steele Spring Stage Rights, the licensing company that represents The Marvelous Wonderettes, has just acquired the licensing and theatrical performance rights to the off-Broadway musical about a family and its complicated history with a book by Charlie Schulman and music and lyrics by Michael Roberts.
