Complete casting for the Broadway premiere of the award-winning new musical Grey Gardens has been announced

The original cast recording of Grey Gardens--previously announced as a PS Classics recording--is now set for an August 22nd release date

Grey Gardens, the hit Playwrights Horizons musical about two eccentric relatives of Jackie Kennedy Onassis, is set to be planted at the Walter Kerr Theatre for an opening on November 2nd; it will begin previews on October 3rd

The Public Theatre's world premiere of Satellites, written by Diana Son and directed by Michael Greif, will begin previews on Tuesday, May 30 in the Martinson Theater and open on June 18th

The 51st Annual Drama Desk Awards were presented on Sunday, May 21, 2006 at 9:00 PM, at the LaGuardia Concert Hall at Lincoln Center. The annual awards honor excellence in theater for Broadway, Off Broadway and Off-Off Broadway during the season.

The History Boys, by Alan Bennett, today won the New York Drama Critics' Circle Award for Best Play of the 2005-2006 season. The Best Musical award was given to The Drowsy Chaperone (book by Bob Martin and Don McKellar, music and lyrics by Lisa Lambert and Greg Morrison).
