As part of Roundabout Theatre Company's 50th Anniversary Season, Broadway In Chicago and Roundabout Theatre Company have announced casting for the national tour of Sam Mendes (Spectre, American Beauty) and Rob Marshall's (Into the Woods and Chicago, the films) Tony Award-winning production of CABARET.  Individual tickets for the Chicago premiere of Roundabout Theatre Company's CABARET will go on sale Friday, December 11.  CABARET will play Broadway In Chicago's newly named The PrivateBank Theatre (18 West Monroe) for a limited two-week engagement February 9 - 21, 2016.

As part of their 50th Anniversary Season, Roundabout Theatre Company just announced that the national tour of SAM MENDES (Skyfall, American Beauty) and ROB MARSHALL'S (Into the Woods and Chicago, the films) Tony Award®-winning production of CABARET, will premiere in Providence, RI at the Providence Performing Arts Center with performances beginning Tuesday, Jan. 26 through Sunday, Jan. 31 and an official opening on Thursday, Jan. 28 2016. This tour ofCABARET marks Roundabout Theatre Company's third production on the road, having previously produced the critically acclaimed tours of Twelve Angry Men and Anything Goes.

Cole Porter's classic musical comedy, ANYTHING GOES, sailed into the Ohio Theatre during its revival tour, transporting us to a 'De-Lovely' time of legendary Broadway standards such as 'I Get a Kick Out of You', 'You're the Top', 'It's De-Lovely', 'Blow, Gabriel, Blow', and of course, 'Anything Goes'.

The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) has announced the winners of the NYMF 2014 Awards for Excellence. Awards are voted on by the NYMF jury and the awards were presented at the closing night celebration on July 27th at Arena Events Space.

Disney's mega animated hit Frozen was also among the night's big winners, winning the four awards for an animated feature, including outstanding VFX, animated character, created environment, and FX and simulation animation.

After almost a year of touring North America, the Roundabout Theatre Company's buoyant Tony Award-winning revival of ANYTHING GOES has finally docked its madcap ship of lunatics at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa for a shamefully-short one-week engagement through September 29. Featuring an incredible lead performance by Broadway vet Rachel York as Reno Sweeney, this old-fashioned crowd-pleaser is, hands-down, one of the most jubilantly entertaining revivals in recent years. In 1934, during the height of the Great Depression, Americans were looking for escapist entertainment and they found it in Cole Porter's frothy, screw-ball comedy, 'Anything Goes.'

iTunes has released today the original off-Broadway cast recording of John Dempsey & Dana P. Rowe's production of Zombie Prom. Zombie Prom has music by Dana P. Rowe, book and lyrics by John Dempsey, based on a story by Dempsey and Hugh M. Murphy. Directed by Philip William McKinley, Orchestrations by Michael Gibson with musical direction by Darren R. Cohen.
