Trap Door Theatre in concert with the Cultural Services of the French Consulate in Chicago, The Alliance Française de Washington, the Consulate General of France in Atlanta, the France-Atlanta festival, and CulturesFrance, and with the support of Etant donnes from FACE--French American Fund for the Performing Arts--is proud to present Me Too, I Am Catherine Deneuve. Additional support provided by France Chicago Center, Franke Institute for the Humanities, Norman Wait Harris Memorial Fund, Théâtre du Rond-Point/Paris in the USA, as well as the University of Chicago's Office of the Deputy Provost for the Arts, Office of the Dean of the College, and the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures. Photo Coverage: SUPERIOR DONUTS Greets Francisco Hernandez and Family

On October 16, Francisco Hernandez Jr. went directly from school to the subway and spent the next 11 days riding from borough to borough with nothing but a metrocard, $10, and a schoolbag. Hernandez, a thirteen year-old who suffers from Asperger's Syndrome (a form of autism that can lead to eccentric behavior and isolation), had gotten in trouble at school and was afraid to go home for fear of being punished. After an 11 day search involving the boy's parents, the New York City transit authority, police and even the Mexican Consulate, Hernandez was found at the Coney Island station stop by a transit police officer. The headliners of Broadway's Superior Donuts, now playing at The Music Box Theater, have been billed as stage and screen vet Michael McKean and the play's scribe, Tracey Letts, of Pulitzer Prize fame for her recent August: Osage County. Yet, The New York Times reveals that immersed in the shows ensemble is another star in Jon Michael Hill, a big name in the Chicago theater scene (where Donuts originated), though relatively unknown to the New York and L.A. worlds.
