The New York regional premiere of rock musical Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson with book by Alex Timbers and music & lyrics by Michael Friedman takes the stage for Little Radical Theatrics, Inc. May 25-June 2. Directed by Michael J. Mirra with musical direction by Ricky Romano and choreography by Jessica Bittner, the show's executive producer is Stephanie Viegas, with assistant producer and production manager Jovan C. Richards. Below is a video mash-up of three numbers from the production, including songs "Populism Yeah, Yeah", "I'm So That Guy" and ending with the musical's No. 1 hit "Rock Star". Check it out below! Beck Center to Present BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON, 5/25-6/1

Beck Center for the Arts presents the regional premiere of the award-winning rock musical, Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, May 25 through July 1, 2012 in the Studio Theater. Show times are 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 7 p.m. Sundays. There are no Sunday matinee performances for this production. Tickets are now on sale. ( more...)

AT HAND THEATRE COMPANY's 3rd annual Earth Day concert, BROADWAY RECYCLED,will take place on Sunday, April 22nd at 7pm at Joe's Pub. The concert of songs cut from musicals – songs that shouldn't go to waste - benefits the Broadway Green Alliance and At Hand Theatre Company. The Civilians Honor High Line Co-Founder Robert Hammond, 4/23

Renowned investigative theatre company The Civilians celebrates its 2011-2012 season with the presentation of its first ever Civilian of the Year Award. The Civilians will honor Robert Hammond, co-founder of The High Line, at its 2012 Benefit on April 23rd at the Highline Ballroom Hammond will be fêted by the company’s Associate Artists as well as additional stage and screen stars in a one-night-only performance of interviews and songs by Michael J. Friedman (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson) about Hammond and the creation of The High Line put together in The Civilians’ signature investigative style. Interviewees for this unique performance include Amanda Burden (Director of the Department of City Planning), Florent Morellet (Restaurant Owner), and Bronson van Wyck (Event Planner). ( more...)

Casting has been confirmed for Little Radical Theatrics' latest offering, the New York Regional Premiere of BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON, which is slated to play a limited engagement (May 25-June 2, 2012) at the Westchester Sandbox Theatre in Mamaroneck. The "provocative, scathing and topical satire with wild and zany humor" will be helmed by LRT artistic director Michael Mirra, with musical direction by Ricky Romano, and original choreography by Jessica Bittner.
