Muskegon Civic Theatre will present Sister Act: LIVE in Concert! April 30 and May 1, 2021. The gate opens at 6:45 PM and the show starts at 7:30 PM.

The Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment has announced two new “Made in NY” Talks for Spring 2021: “Street Gang: How We Got to Sesame Street” on April 22, and “Marketing, Messaging and the Public Interest” on April 26.  All “Made in NY” Talks are free, virtual and open to the public. 

Today, Yale University announced the eight recipients of the 2021 Windham-Campbell Prizes. The writers were honored for their literary achievement or promise, and each will receive $165,000 to support their work.

HBO Documentary Films’ STREET GANG: HOW WE GOT TO SESAME STREET takes audiences inside the minds and hearts of the “Sesame Street” creators, artists, writers and educators who together established one of the most influential and enduring children’s programs in television history. The film will debut in 2021.

The production features numerous Syracuse University student actors along with members of the Actors' Equity Association as they bring the Pulitzer Prize nominated drama about nine young women soccer players to life with such immense intensity and talent. The production is intense, chilling, and brilliant.

The musical is under the always superb direction of Donna Drake and musical director Brian Cimmet, the creative team that brought the last two holiday favorites to Syracuse Stage. Like their past productions, Wizard of Oz and Elf their production of Beauty and the Beast kicks off the Holiday season with magical sets, costumes, and dazzling talent.

ABC has shared a preview of their upcoming film a?oeSame Time, Next Christmasa?? starring Lea Michele! The clip features Michele's character, Olivia, and Charles Michael Davis' character Jeff at a Luau together. Jeff coaxes Olivia to get up and dance the Hawaiian Christmas hula!

The soon-to-be fan-favorite holiday film will also rebroadcast on ABC on Monday, Dec. 23, at 8:00-10:00 p.m. EST, as well as on Freeform as part of their a?oe25 Days of Christmasa?? programming.
