Luna Stage presents last season's hit holiday show Mi Casa, Tu Casa with a few new surprises. It features a five-member band and a pair of host storytellers who guide their guests through a lively and engaging line-up of folksongs and fables, seasonal poems, holiday musical favorites, and personal anecdotes of family traditions. Michael Bush Departs the O'Neill Center

The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center and Michael Bush jointly announced today that, after eight years, Mr. Bush is moving on from his position as the artistic director of the O'Neill's Cabaret & Performance Conference due to increased professional obligations directing in New York and regionally. These obligations include the further development of the new musicals STORMY WEATHER, THE PIPER, and his recently acclaimed NYMF production of HIMSELF AND NORA. He will also be a founding partner in a new company, Tritone Productions, which is dedicated to the development of new work. (more...)

An 11:11 Experiment is thrilled to announce that their little show that could, straight from its wildly successful run as part of the Hollywood Fringe Festival and its critically-acclaimed run at the Hudson Theatres, ELEVATOR, with original music by Mario Marchetti, written and directed by Michael Leoni (The Playground) and produced by Michelle Kaufer, Schoen Smith and Michael Leoni, will re-open on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 22 (with an opening night party to follow) and perform through JANUARY 23 at the MACHA Theatre, 1107 N. Syfy Greenlights ALPHAS Series

Syfy has enlisted Alphas (working title) to join its slate of original scripted series by greenlighting the wry, action-adventure project from writers Zak Penn (X-Men: The Last Stand, The Avengers, The Incredible Hulk) and Michael Karnow, it was announced today by Mark Stern, Executive Vice President of Original Content, Syfy and Co-Head of Original Content for Universal Cable Productions. Eleven episodes have been ordered in addition to the 90-minute pilot directed by Jack Bender (director and executive producer of Lost). Universal Cable Productions will produce the series with BermanBraun Television. Executive Producers are Gail Berman, Lloyd Braun and Gene Stein for BermanBraun and Zak Penn. (more...)
