BARRIER ISLAND will play a 4-week limited engagement at Center Stage NY (48 West 21st Street, 4th Floor, Buzzer 401#). Performances begin Friday, April 30th through Saturday, May 22nd.

Azuka Theatre finishes the Philadelphia Premiere of Adam Szymkowicz's biting dating comedy, Nerve May 2.

In this dark comedy, Szymkowicz takes a mirror to the world of online dating. Elliot has never had an online date show up while Susan has had far too many and would prefer not to discuss it. In Nerve, the pair navigates a premature declaration of love and far too much information about past relationships. With bits of modern dance, and a twisted Jiminy Cricket-like puppet, Nerve takes a wickedly comic look at the idea of falling into a relationship on the first date and a desperation that may or may not be love.

Azuka Theatre finishes its 10th Anniversary season with the Philadelphia Premiere of Adam Szymkowicz's biting dating comedy, Nerve. The show begins April 8, opens April 14 and closes May 2. The Katselas Theatre Company presents The World Premiere of The 'Hook Up' Comedy Altar Ego by James Lyons and Directed by Audrey Moore and Leila Vatan. The show is produced by Gary Grossman and opens Saturday, April 10 at 8pm at The Beverly Hills Playhouse.

The Katselas Theatre Company continues its landmark 2010 Season with the World Premiere of James Lyons' Alter Ego, a fresh, candidly irreverent, sometimes poignant look at relationships, fidelity, monogamy, addiction and everything else that takes place between the upper thighs and the lower waist. Village Players Theater is proud to announce two new Educational Opportunities housed under the Village Players Training Center: Village Players Youth Training Center and Village Players Professional Training Center. This fall the Village Players Professional Training Center will be offering Weekend Intensive Workshops at Village Players Performing Arts Center on Sundays in November and December from 9am-2pm for Adults. There will also be accompanying Weekend Intensive Workshops for Teens offered through the Village Players Youth Training Center in 'Mastering the Audition Process' and 'Off of the Page and Onto the Stage: A Shakespeare Intensive'. Cost is $75 per Adult Intensive; $50 per Teen Intensive.
