TBS has given the greenlight to two new comedy series as the network undergoes an expansion of its original series lineup. TBS has ordered six episodes of DEON COLE'S BLACK BOX, starring CONAN writer and performer Deon Cole. The network has also ordered nine episodes of WHO GETS THE LAST LAUGH?, a new series from Punk'd co-creators Jason Goldberg and Ashton Kutcher. (more...)

TBS, which has basked in the glory of nerd-dom with the enormously popular acquired sitcom The Big Bang Theory, is now ready to take things to the next level. TBS has greenlit the new unscripted competition series King of the Nerds, hosted by two of the stars of the movie blockbuster Revenge of the Nerds, Robert Carradine and Curtis Armstrong. (more...)

Roundabout Theatre Company in association with Damian Arnold, will present the Broadway premiere of Marc Camoletti’s classic farce Don’t Dress For Dinner, starring Ben Daniels as “Robert,” Melora Hardin as “Jacqueline,” Adam James as “Bernard” and Jennifer Tilly as “Suzanne” with Spencer Kayden as “Suzette.” Don’t Dress For Dinner is adapted by Robin Hawdon and directed by John Tillinger. On Tues. 9/13, stars came together at the Carrie Hamilton Theatre in Pasadena to present CONCERT FOR VICTOR: A BENEFIT. All proceeds from the concert go to 23-year-old Victor Rodriguez and his family. In June 2011, Sacramento newlyweds Victor and Crystal Rodriguez went parasailing on the last day of their honeymoon in the Bahamas. At a height of approximately 200 feet their harness snapped, and they fell into the ocean. Crystal was killed, and Victor suffered severe injuries. Neither of them had health or life insurance. They had only been married 12 days. (more...)
