THE RASCALS: ONCE UPON A DREAM to Play Academy of Music, 6/5-6

Producers Steven Van Zandt and Maureen Van Zandt, Marc Brickman, Larry Magid and BASE Entertainment have announced that following a critically acclaimed, sold-out Broadway engagement, THE RASCALS: ONCE UPON A DREAM will embark on a tour to play venues across North America. The tour kicks off May 24, 2013 at Hard Rock Live at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida. THE RASCALS: ONCE UPON A DREAM will play in the Academy of Music on June 5-6, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. and June 8 at 8 p.m. for three performances only. (more...)

With music byFelix Cavaliere and Eddie Brigati, The Rascals: Once Upon a Dream has stage, video and lighting design by Brickman and has music production and is written by legendary guitarist Van Zandt. Performances begin Monday, April 15th atBroadway's Richard Rodgers Theatre (226 West 46th Street), and will play through Today, May 5th. Opening night is set for Tuesday, April 16th.

Limited Tickets On Sale October 2nd For Little Kids Rock Charity Benefit Honoring Steven Van Zandt

On Tuesday, October 2nd at 9 am EDT, a limited number of tickets will go on sale at littlekidsrock.org/tickets for the Right to Rock Celebration - a charity benefit for Little Kids Rock that will feature performances of Steven Van Zandt's music by an epic lineup including Elvis Costello, Dion DiMucci, Tom Morello, Darlene Love, Southside Johnny, Kris Allen, Ruben Blades, Gary U.S. Bonds, Michael Des Barres, Michael Johns, Jesse Malin, Jake Clemons, NYC Hit Squad and other surprise guests expected to attend. Actress Maureen Van Zandt and E Street Band drummer Max Weinberg will co-chair the event, which is sponsored by the House of Marley and 1Love and will take place on Tuesday, October 16th, in New York City at the Manhattan Center Grand Ballroom.

Before Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band finish the second U.S. leg of its world tour, many of its members will attend Little Kids Rock's 10th anniversary Right to Rock Celebration, sponsored by the House of Marley and 1Love. On October 16th in New York city Steven Van Zandt will be presented with the 'Big Man of The Year Award,' given annually to honor the legacy of the late, great Clarence Clemons. Van Zandt joins past honorees Lady Gaga and The Big Man himself. The event is being co-chaired by actress Maureen Van Zandt and E Street Band drummer Max Weinberg. (more...)
