It's just been announced that two-time Academy Award® winner Leslie Bricusse and Emmy, Grammy and Tony nominated composer Frank Wildhorn's Broadway musical Jekyll and Hyde is being reimagined for the big screen by Academy Award winner Alexander Dinelaris (Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance), The Revenant).

The Noel S. Ruiz Theater at CMPAC does it again with their production of Pippin. Pippin was a wise choice to wrap-up CMPAC's 43rd season. Inspired by the real-life individuals of the early Middle Ages, Charlemagne and his hunchbacked son Pippin, the show tells the fictionalized story of the young prince in search for meaning and significance in his life.

The American Repertory Theater looks very different in 2018 after ten years with Artistic Director Diane Paulus at the helm. She has changed the institution with her vision and creativity, sculpting, in her words, a 'legacy of boundary-breaking musical theater.' In celebration of the past decade, which has seen 33 musical and music-theater pieces staged at the Loeb Drama Center and Oberon, A.R.T. presents EXTRAORDINARY, an original cabaret-style entertainment featuring a company of returning artists and special guests to perform some of the greatest hits from the Paulus canon.

American Repertory Theater at Harvard University (A.R.T.), under the leadership of Terrie and Bradley Bloom Artistic Director Diane Paulus and Executive Producer Diane Borger, announces the casting and creative team for ExtraOrdinary, a cabaret retrospective celebrating ten years of musical theater at the A.R.T. The limited run begins on Friday, November 16 at the Loeb Drama Center in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and ends on Friday, November 30, 2018.

In 2016, Delaware Theatre Company brought the musical adaptation of the classic film DINER, written by Academy Award-winner Barry Levinson with music and lyrics by nine-time Grammy Award-winner Sheryl Crow, to the stage. Directed and choreographed by three-time Tony Award-winner Kathleen Marshall, the musical was years in the making, having its initial regional premiere in DC's Signature Theatre in December 2014.
