TACT Announces Wednesday Matinees for LOST IN YONKERS

TACT/The Actors Company Theatre (Scott Alan Evans, Cynthia Harris and Jenn Thompson, Co-Artistic Directors), the critically-acclaimed Off-Broadway company "dedicated to presenting neglected or rarely produced plays of literary merit," announced today that due to a demand for tickets, two weekday matinee performances (Wednesday, April 4 & 11 at 2pm), have been added for Lost in Yonkers, the final production of the company's 2011/12 season. Directed by TACT Co-Artistic Director Jenn Thompson, performances began at Theatre Row's Beckett Theatre (410 West 42nd Street - between 9th & 10th Avenues) on Tuesday, March 13th, 2012 and the enjoyed an official opening night on Thursday, March 22nd. Performances will continue through Saturday, April 14th.

BEN CAMERON (Wicked, Aida, Footloose) is the host and creator of BROADWAY SESSIONS at THE MIDTOWN THEATRE at the HA! Comedy Club TC l4 ' (163 West 46th Street / Between 6th & 7th Avenues) every Thursday night at 11:00pm. Broadway Sessions is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week, and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano. After the show we open the microphone up to anyone who wants to sing. Open mic from 12:00-2am.

TACT/The Actors Company Theatre has just announced complete casting for Lost in Yonkers by Neil Simon, the final production of the company's 2011/12 season. Directed by TACT Co-Artistic Director Jenn Thompson, performances begin at Theatre Row's Beckett Theatre (410 West 42nd Street - between 9th & 10th Avenues) on Tuesday, March 13th, 2012. Opening night is Thursday, March 22nd at 7:30pm. Performances will continue through Saturday, April 14th.

Stars of ELF, which opened on Broadway in November 2010 and concluded its limited run in January 2011, are set to perform numbers from the show at the Upper East Side Barnes & Noble on December 5 to celebrate the release ofthe cast album. Participants will include: Sebastian Arcelus, Beth Leavel, Matthew Gumley, Matthew Schechter, and Amy Spanger.

TREASURE ISLAND Musical Holds Backers' Audition, 2/28
