According to Deadline.com, theatre veterans Jonathan Groff and Sanaa Lathan will guest star on the upcoing second season of Starz's 'Boss.' Lathan will play 'Mona, Kane's incorruptible new chief of staff, who becomes an obsession for him,' and Groff 'Ian Todd, a smart and ambitious staffer in Kane's office who steps into the void Ezra Stone (Martin Donovan) has left to offer astute council to Kane.' Warner Bros. Television Group (WBTVG) is returning to Comic-Con International: San Diego in unprecedented fashion in 2010. A star-studded lineup of performers, producers and other members of the creative teams of a record 14 series from Warner Bros. Television, Warner Horizon Television and Warner Bros. Animation will be on-hand for panel sessions, screenings, media appearances and autograph signings. In May REDCAT culminates its 2009-2010 Sharon Disney Lund Dance Series with the Los Angeles premiere of There Is An Elephant In This Dance. After well received performances in New York and Washington DC, Los Angeles dance artist Lionel Popkin brings his latest work to REDCAT, featuring the original ensemble of Carolyn Hall, Ishmael Houston-Jones, Peggy Piacenza, Popkin, and a trio of musicians including composer Robert Een. Performances of There Is An Elephant In This Dance will take place at the Roy and Edna Disney/CalArts Theater on Thursday, May 20, 2010 and run through Sunday, May 23, 2010. (more...)

Motherhood Out Loud, a new American play, conceived by Susan R. Rose and Joan Stein, produced by Ms. Rose, Ms. Stein, Renee Landegger and Judith Resnick, directed by Lisa Peterson, and written by more than 15 writers, will have a special work-in-progress, 3-performance engagement as part of Bay Street Theatre's 2009 'Bay Street at the Parrish' season. 'Saved' Postpones Previews One Day, Begins 5/10 by BWW News Desk - May 09, 2008
Previews for the Playwrights Horizons (Tim Sanford, Artistic Director; Leslie Marcus, Managing Director) World Premiere production of the new musical SAVED, which were scheduled to begin tonight, Friday, May 9, have been postponed due to a longer than expected tech process. Tonight's 8PM performance has been cancelled and the musical will now begin previews tomorrow evening, Saturday, May 10 at 8PM.
