Georgette Timoney, the veteran New Jersey actress, will bring to life firebrand columnist and satirist Molly Ivins, the late Texas journalist and best-selling author, in the New Jersey premiere of Red Hot Patriot: The Kick-Ass Wit of Molly Ivins. The play opens on May 21 at the Robert Shackleton Playhouse, a restored 1853 landmark theater, in Cape May.

From October 23 to November 16, both sides will have their say at the Robert Shackleton Playhouse with Cape May Stage's production of Lee Blessing's A Walk in the Woods. Two arms deal negotiators - one an idealistic American newcomer, the other a cynical Russian veteran - meet in the woods after long frustrating hours at the bargaining table in informal conversation, covering a variety of topics. In its depiction of these two men working towards a mutually acceptable deal, this Pulitzer Prize-nominated drama is filled with unexpected humor and extraordinary humanity.

Boeing Boeing will run from Wednesday, July 31 to Friday, September 13 at the Robert Shackleton Playhouse at the corner of Bank and Lafayette Streets in downtown Cape May. Performances are at 8 p.m. and occur Tuesdays through Sundays. Tickets are $35 for adults, $30 seniors (62+), and $15 students. A half-price preview performance will take place on Wednesday, July 31 followed by the official opening/press night on Thursday, August 1 and Sunday, August 18 will be a special half-price night for seniors. Lend Me a Tenor, Ken Ludwig's deliriously funny farce set in the richly glamorous 1930s, opens at Cape May Stage's Robert Shackleton Playhouse Wednesday, June 12 and runs through July 26.
