Tune in to PBS on Wednesday, December 14 at 8:00 p.m.* for the Live From Lincoln Center premiere of New York City Ballet's beloved holiday favorite, George Balanchine's The NutcrackerTM from the David H. Koch Theater.

New York City Ballet will open its 2011-2012 season at Lincoln Center on Tuesday, September 13, with four weeks of fall performances through October 9, featuring 16 ballets including works by George Balanchine, Peter Martins, Jerome Robbins and Christopher Wheeldon.

Valour! Compassion!), Music by Stephen Flaherty and Lyrics by Lynn Ahrens (Dessa Rose, Seussical, Once On This Island, My Favorite Year) based on the E.L. Doctorow novel 'Ragtime.'
