AMC Renews HELL ON WHEELS for Third Season

AMC announced today the renewal of HELL ON WHEELS for a third season with John Wirth ("V" "Fallen Skies" "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles") serving as executive producer and showrunner. Fengar Gael's The Island of No Tomorrows, an erotic, quixotic musical fantasy directed by Lorca Peress runs at Interart Theatre from November 2nd through 18th. The play, a co-production between Interart Theatre Development Series and MultiStages New Works Contests, is part of the League of Professional Theatre Women's "30 Plays Celebrate 30 Years Series". Rita Moreno Helps Raise $510,000 for Berkeley Rep at ONSTAGE Gala

Last night, April 28, at the Four Seasons San Francisco, more than 380 people celebrated Tony Award-winning Berkeley Repertory Theatre with actor Rita Moreno, who hosted an evening for theatre lovers, gourmands, and philanthropists. Moreno entertained the crowd with a series of songs and jokes. A gala held each year to benefit Berkeley Rep, ONSTAGE raised more than $510,000 to support the nonprofit's artistic efforts and its education and outreach programs for the local community. (more...)

Richard Fleeshman, Caissie Levy, Bryce Pinkham & Da'Vine Joy Randolph Star in GHOST THE MUSICAL on Broadway

The producers of Ghost The Musical announced today that Richard Fleeshman and Caissie Levy will reprise their starring roles as Sam and Molly, which they originated in London's hit West End production, when it premieres this Spring at Broadway's Lunt-Fontanne Theatre (205 West 46th Street). They will be joined by Bryce Pinkham as Carl Bruner and newcomer Da'Vine Joy Randolph as Oda Mae Brown. Preview performances will begin on Thursday, March 15, 2012. Opening night is confirmed for Monday, April 23, 2012.
