STAGE TUBE: Sneak Peek - Planet Connections' THE HOLY COWS OF CREDENCE, SOUTH DAKOTA

This summer, The Holy Cows of Credence, South Dakota, directed by Rodrigo E. Bolaños, will be presented as part of the 5th Annual Planet Connections Theatre Festivity. The Festivity will take place now through June 24 at the Gene Frankel and Robert Moss Theatres. The musical, with Book by Mark-Eugene Garcia (Standby: The Musical) , Music and Lyrics by David and Paul Rigano (The Rigano Songbook), and based on the play 'Holy Cows' by Carolyn Lardinois English and Royal Crane, will be directed by Rodrigo E. THE SONG OF EDDIE KING, a modern day Oedipus, will be presented as a reading by FRIENDS ALWAYS CREATING (FACT) THEATRE as part of a benefit evening being held Monday, May 20th at 7:00PM at Roy Arias Theatre, 300 West 43rd Street. The evening will consist of an hour long reading of the new play, an auction and raffle and wine and a talk back with the author of the play, Jamesai Schempp. (more...)

FringeNYC Encore Series Begins Today

Now in its 7th year, the FringeNYC Encore Series gives theatre lovers another chance at seeing some of the most critically acclaimed and most crowd-pleasing shows from the Festival. Beginning September 7th, the FringeNYC Encore Series will present 19 'Best of The Festival' shows in rotating repertory at SoHo Playhouse and The Huron Club (both located at 15 Vandam Street between 6th Avenue & Varick) as well as at The Players Theater (115 MacDougal Street between Bleecker and Houston Streets).
