HAIRSPRAY to Tour Ireland and the UK in 2013; Mark Benton Stars as Edna Turnblad

Stage and screen star Mark Benton will lead the company of the award-winning musical comedy HAIRSPRAY when it embarks on a UK and Ireland tour next year. The multi-million production will officially open at Manchester's Lowry Theatre on Wednesday 13 February. Mark will play the larger than life Turnblad family matriarch Edna in the show, with further casting to be announced soon. (more...)

The last ever London performance in the specially created 1000 seat space in the old Eurostar Terminal at Waterloo Station will be on 8 January 2012 as previously announced. (more...)

Mark Benton will join the London cast The Railway Children on 3 December to play Perks for the final six weeks of Damian Cruden's Olivier award-winning production at Waterloo Station. Since it's opening Cruden's production has now been seen by almost 400,000 people. The final London performance, in the specially created 1000 seat space in the old Eurostar Terminal at Waterloo Station, will be on 8 January 2012.
