Dive on in with the dazzling cast of Theatre Under The Star's production of Disney's The Little Mermaid!  Back by popular demand, this fun-filled, timeless tale will play for a limited run this weekend, September 10 - 13 at The Hobby Center for the Performing Arts!

September 13th kicks off an extensive Broadway Connection season in Minneapolis with scheduled Master Classes at local studios including Jete Dance Center, Ballare Teatro, Barbi Lee Dance Arts and more as they introduce students to Broadway Connection Teachers, Marjorie Failoni and Robbie Roby from the cast of THE LITTLE MERMAID and Ben Lanham from the cast of CINDERELLA.  The 2-hour Broadway Connection Master Classes are scheduled at the each studio's home location in Minneapolis while the teaching artists perform at the Orpheum Theater.  In the elite Broadway Connection Classes, students and parents experience direct access to current working Broadway performers who share the technique, style and training required to work professionally in dance, theater, TV and film.  Jete Dance Center, Ballare Teatro, Barbi Lee Dance Arts and over 30 more studios, schools and universities in the Minneapolis area have taken advantage of this rare opportunity to dance with Broadway's most elite artists in the comfort of their home spaces through Broadway Connection.  And the community is thrilled to have the inspiration, passion, and energy of New York back again for the 8th season in a row. TUTS invites everyone to take a trip "under the sea" including all the familiar classic songs plus a few new ones along with a story that charms people of all ages!

Jonathan Burke (A Christmas Story), Amy Hohn (November), Chris LeBeau, Kilty Reidy (The Drowsy Chaperone) and Cary Shields (Taboo, Rent) have joined the cast of UnsungMusicalsCo.'s (UMC) concert presentation of Caesar's Wife.

UnsungMusicalsCo. (UMC) will present a one-night-only concert of Caesar's Wife featuring the world premiere of an original score written circa 1969 by Tony Award nominee Carolyn Leigh (Peter Pan, Little Me, Gatsby) and Grammy Award nominee Lee Pockriss (Gatsby, Ernest in Love). Conceived and directed by Ben West (The Fig Leaves Are Falling, At Home Abroad), this new behind-the-scenes look at the unfinished musical will play Peter Norton Symphony Space on Monday, November 18 at 7:30 PM.

The Muny is currently presenting the fourth show of its fantastic 95th Season, South Pacific, directed by Rob Ruggiero and choreographed by Ralph Perkins. South Pacific is sponsored by Emerson. The Spangles Dance Company will be appearing in the 2012 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City. Founded by Deb and Ted Spangles, the Spangles Dance Company is an 80's tribute dance company filled with head-turning hotties who are changing the world one body roll at a time. The Spangles Dance Company has appeared on America's Got Talent, where they received a unanimous "YES" from all three judges.
