The Andes Dance Collective, founded by dancer/choreographers Gloria McLean, Columbine Macher, David Capps and composer/performer Marshall Coid, presents the DELAWARE COUNTY 2ND DANCE FILM FESTIVAL AND WORKSHOP, bringing new dance and music events to the Catskills Delaware County region. This year, in two 4-day weekends, July 21-24 and August 4-7, the Festival will include two live dance/music performances (premieres), film screenings, and dance workshops.

Derrick Adams: Patrick Kelly, The Journey is based on Brooklyn-based artist Derrick Adams's extensive research into the archive of the influential African-American fashion designer Patrick Kelly (1954-1990), housed at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture. Featuring abstract collage works on paper framed with glazing, the first show in this series was first presented by The Studio Museum in Harlem.

BRIC presents Alchemy, its major summer 2018 exhibition, featuring the work of seven artists reconceiving non-conventional materials in a reflection on the ancient concept of alchemy-the transformation of matter (June 28 - August 12). Employing diverse media, these artists create visually layered statements about the body, gender, race, and the environment. Their work, which includes large-scale installations and work commissioned by BRIC, also manifests the potential for the spiritual to be drawn out from the quotidian world around us.

The Visual Arts Center of New Jersey's current exhibition, Radiant Energy, showcases the work of Gabriele Evertz, Robert Swain, and Sanford Wurmfeld, artists who all create work that challenges viewers to see color differently. On Sunday, March 25, from 3-5 PM these artists will be joined by artist, curator, and gallery director Matthew Deleget for a conversation on their work and their relationship to color.

The New England Foundation for the Arts Creative City program announces The Chroma Line, a public curated artwalk across the Franklin Footbridge in Allston (between Lincoln and Cambridge Streets). Produced by lead artist and architect Jillian Wiedenmayer, the project is a group mural painted by a team of artists to make the Franklin footbridge more inviting, safe-feeling, and community-involved.
