ANYTHING GOES Comes to the Kennedy Center, 6/6

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts presents the national tour of Roundabout Theatre Company's Anything Goes in the Kennedy Center Opera House from June 11 to July 7, 2013. Winner of the 2011 Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical, Roundabout Theatre Company's Anything Goes sails direct from Broadway under the direction of Kathleen Marshall, who won the 2011 Tony Award for Best Choreography. The production features music and lyrics by Cole Porter; original book by P.G. Wodehouse & Guy Bolton and Howard Lindsay & Russel Crouse; and new book by Timothy Crouse and John Weidman. Press opening night is Thursday, June 13, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. (more...)

A year ago, Alex FInke was a college girl at the University of Michigan. While many of her contemporaries are likely still looking for a job or working their way up from the lower rungs of the corporate ladder, Finke is sailing through a career on the fast track, and she feels incredibly fortunate to be there. Roundabout Theatre Company's (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) national tour of the 2011 Tony Award-winning Anything Goes celebrated its' 200th performance at Heinz Hall in Pittsburgh, PA yesterday Wednesday, April 18. The company celebrated with a welcoming curtain speech by director, choreographer & Pittsburgh native Kathleen Marshall and a beautiful cake following the performance.
