Riverdale executive producer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa announced at today's Comic-Con 2019(R) panel that the season four premiere will feature a special tribute to Luke Perry. Perry's longtime friend and former costar Shannen Doherty will guest star in a special role in the episode, which will air Wednesday, October 9, at 8/7c on The CW. Entitled 'Chapter Fifty-Eight: In Memoriam,' the season premiere will reflect Luke Perry's enduring legacy and the indelible imprint his character, Fred Andrews, had on Riverdale.

Beginning August 5, getTV will begin airing episodes of the popular sitcom “Hot in Cleveland,” starring Valerie Bertinelli (“One Day at a Time”), Jane Leeves (“Frasier”), Wendie Malick (“Just Shoot Me”) and Betty White (“The Golden Girls”). The series, which ran on TVLand from 2010 to 2015, will air August 5 at 6PM ET.

'Luke Perry: In His Own Words' premieres Sunday, March 17 at 9pm ET/ 6pm PT and explores the career and life of the man who captivated fans in his portrayal of Dylan McKay of the hit TV series Beverly Hills, 90210. The special includes his own reflections on a life of influence, legacy, romances and personal tragedy as well as interviews with his close friends and co-stars who share the private side of the actor with a generous soul with charisma to burn.

Luke Perry has died today after suffering a massive stroke last Wednesday, February 27, according to Deadline. He was 52.

Variety reports that Luke Perry has been hospitalized following a massive stroke. Perry's reps confirmed that Perry “is currently under observation at the hospital.” His condition is currently unclear.

'Mad Dog and Glory' will arrive upon it's 25th anniversary on Blu Ray on March 5, 2019 from Kino Lorber Home Entertainment.
