BWW Reviews: FORTUNE IN MY EYES: A Memoir of Broadway Glamor, Social Justice, and Political Passion

And while I don't expect it to turn up at the Metropolitan Opera (or even New York City Opera, for that matter), this 1827 singspiel sung in German with dialogue in English, performed by the American Symphony Orchestra under Leon Botstein, provided an exhilarating introduction to the work.
